How to Mount Your Liquid Mirror

Our mirrors are designed to be lightweight and renter-friendly. Follow these steps to ensure a permanent, secure fit.

1. Prep the Surface (Crucial Step)

• Clean the wall area with a microfiber cloth and a bit of rubbing alcohol.

• Do not use household cleaners; they leave a residue that prevents the adhesive from sticking.

• Ensure the wall is completely dry.

2. Map Your Placement

• Before peeling the adhesive, hold your mirror against the wall to find the perfect spot.

• Tip: Use a pencil to lightly mark the top corners so you don't hang it crooked.

3. Apply the Adhesive

• Apply the included heavy-duty mounting strips to the back of the mirror.

• Distribute them evenly, focusing on the "heavy" parts of the silhouette (like the center and top).

4. The "30-Second" Press

• Press the mirror firmly against the wall.

• Apply pressure across the entire surface for at least 30 seconds. This activates the bond.

5. The Big Reveal

• Your mirror ships with a cloudy/blue protective film to prevent scratches.

• Once the mirror is securely mounted, peel back the film to reveal your HD reflection.

How to Clean:

• DO: Use a soft microfiber cloth and a dedicated acrylic cleaner (like Novus) or warm water with a drop of mild dish soap.

• DON’T: Use Windex or ammonia-based cleaners. These will "cloud" the acrylic over time.

• DON’T: Use paper towels. They are abrasive and can cause micro-scratches.
